I thought I’d carry my obsession with books to the next level and take a picture of the library at night. The interesting thing about this image is the sky. It actually seemed like it was pitch black out but somehow the camera picked up blue tinting in the sky and this makes it seem even nicer to me.

I love this library. It has fireplaces and big comfortable chairs. The children’s section is amazing and wonderful and fun and comfortable.

The stones that make up the outer exterior of the building were quarried from this area. Many buildings in Flagstaff are made of the limestones, sandstones, basalt, and flagstones that are everywhere around us. It makes for an interesting contrast to the southwestern flare that you tend to see in Arizona.
